Kalteng trip 11/2021

On a regular basis teams from the ministry will go out, with Bible in hand and fire in their hearts to share the gospel to follow the commission God has given us. "GO". Check out here to see  more about a recent trip into central Kalimantan.

The team left with great excitement to see what God was going to do. In the team were Pastors, a mechanic, a doctor, some university students, church planters and lead by the Holy Spirit. With major flooding their plans changed, but because their plans changed they met with some wonderful people, were able to give encouragement to churches, pray for many sick people and share the gospel with people they wouldn't have met otherwise. God is good. Facing many difficult roads, moments of being lost in the deep jungle, a few falls from motorbikes, multiply floods, and other obstacles to face but with God with them all was overcome, and great testimonies were able to be shared about how God worked things out. Praise God!

"We travelled through most of the floods. While deep we were still able to make out way through.  Right up until we got to a big one. We parked up our bikes and waded into the flood to see how deep it was. Going up to near waist length we began to question whether we would be able to get through and whether to take the risk. As we were saying this, out of nowhere the noise of a motorbike came and we looked behind and saw a man, his wife and their young child on a small moped. They came to the edge of the flood and the wife came off the bike and started to wade through the flood. In amazement we asked if he was going to go through the flood and he said yes! He knew where all the high points in the road were and where the deeper parts were. After saying that he drove straight into the flood and made his way through. We then realized this was our opportunity to follow him through, so jumped on our bikes and made our way to the other side. Praise God we got through. We then asked the man where he was heading and it was the direction we were going in, so we asked if we could tag along with him! So, there we were, 6 of us with these big off-road motor-bikes following a small moped with a man, his wife and small child going through these big floods. I couldn’t help but laugh. Once through the major floods we gave our thanks to the family and blessed them and went our different ways. We thanked God that this family was going along that road at that time, they turned up at the perfect time willing to help, without them we may have still be in the flood today!"
