Testimony Meron
Meron is 12 years old and has been part of the ministry for four years.
He lived in a fairly remote village called Entakai Dua. His father died when he was very young. He has two older brothers: Daion, who married and left the village when Meron was still young, and Ajon, who was sent to Living Waters. There he could attend school, as many villages do not have schools at all.
Shortly afterwards, a sudden tragedy struck. Meron's mother suffered a stroke, which left her bedridden and unable to do anything for herself. As a result, Meron, aged just eight, had to cook, clean the entire house, and even look after the farm, as his mother was unable to do any of these things.
Because the village was so remote, it was difficult for news to reach the children. However, before long, Meron's older brother, Ajon, heard about the situation and asked Ronny whether Living Waters could somehow help. The Lord provided a way, and both Meron and his mother were brought to Living Waters to stay here.
Now, instead of having to cook, clean, and care for the farm in his village, Meron can go to school, make friends, and enjoy hobbies just as a child should. His favourite activities are playing football, volleyball, and reading books. He lives in House Titus with 24 other children, where he feels happy, cared for, and secure. His mother also lives here and is steadily recovering from her stroke.
Most importantly, Meron can learn about Jesus Christ, who loves him so much that He came to earth to die for him and give him a new life. And it can certainly be said that Meron has been given a new life in more ways than one!
